Empowering Minds. Transforming Lives.

Psychological well-being is foundational to learning, development, and overall quality of life.

Hi, I’m Sumen Reddy

I am an Educational Psychologist passionate about walking alongside children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I believe that within every individual is the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change sometimes we simply need the right space and support to access it.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and have completed additional training in Education, Ego State Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy through the Australian Institute of Hypnotherapy (AICHP). My work is grounded in evidence-based practice while remaining deeply attuned to the human experience behind every story.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression.Through comprehensive psychological assessments and specialised therapeutic interventions, I help clients develop insight, resilience, and practical tools for daily life, offering a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where healing can unfold at a pace that feels safe.

My approach is integrative and client-centred. I honour each person’s unique history, strengths, and aspirations, tailoring support to meet their individual needs. Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered  a space where growth is nurtured and transformation becomes possible.

Whether conducting assessments to the young and old, supporting emotional growth, or helping clients navigate complex emotions, I adapt my methods to align with the evolving needs of each individual. My goal is to walk alongside my clients, empowering them to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and embrace their journey toward personal well-being.

Ego State Therapy

Healing and integrating the different parts of the self

Ego State Therapy (EST) is a specialised approach that recognises that each of us is made up of multiple “parts” or ego states each carrying its own emotions, memories, beliefs, and experiences. While many of these parts help us navigate life, some may hold unresolved trauma, emotional pain, or internal conflict that can impact our wellbeing.

Through a compassionate and interactive process, EST helps individuals explore and understand these different parts, resolve inner conflicts, and foster greater self-awareness and emotional integration. It is particularly effective for addressing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and dissociative difficulties.

When appropriate, hypnotherapy and somatic (body-based) techniques can be gently incorporated to access and heal deeper emotional experiences, supporting long-lasting change and inner harmony.

I offer a range of services to support emotional well-being, learning, and personal growth. Whether you’re seeking therapy, assessments, or guidance through life’s challenges, I tailor each service to meet your unique needs, empowering children, adolescents, and adults to thrive.
